Dele Alli could face disciplinary action after raising his middle finger during England’s 2-1 win over Slovakia at Wembley on Monday evening.

There were suggestions Alli had made the gesture towards referee Clement Turpin, but Alli later clarified that it was directed at his former Tottenham teammate Kyle Walker.

Walker reacted on Twitter in hilarious fashion.

Hopefully the light-hearted response to the incident will be shared by FIFA when they decide whether to take action.

Away from Alli’s incident, it was a good night for another Spurs player – Eric Dier scored a first half equaliser to set England on the path to victory.
