Arsenal and Chelsea target Alvaro Morata is set for showdown talks with AC Milan ahead of a £52m move to the San Siro.

The Spain international is ready to leave Real Madrid this summer after being restricted to just 14 starts this season.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been tracking the striker for over a year now and were among the favourites to capture him when the transfer window opened.

But, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Morata is set for showdown talks with Milan as he closes in on a move to the San Siro.

The Italian giants will splash around £52m to land the 24-year-old, who has previously spent time in Serie A with Juventus.

Milan are looking to sort out personal terms with Morata as well and it is reported that the upcoming meeting will be focused on that.
