Arsenal are tracking AC Milan starlet M'Baye Niang, according to reports in Italy.

The striker, who was a target for Leicester City during the January transfer window, has already scored eight goals this season.

Now, according to Calciomercato, Arsenal are planning an attempt to bring the 21-year-old to north London.

Arsene Wenger is said to be a big fan of Niang and has known him since he was playing for Caen as a teenager.

Arsenal would reportedly prefer to do a deal for the forward during the January window, but would be prepared to wait until next summer if they have to.
