Arsenal star to stay! Wenger rubbishes rumours forward will leave the Gunners

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has no plans to sell Lukas Podolski.

The Germany international has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium in January, after finding first-team opportunities hard to come by this season.

Italian champions Juventus have been linked with Podolski, while several Bundesliga clubs are also said to be offering the 29-year-old a return to Germany.

However Wenger has rubbished any talk of Podolski leaving, instead claiming his future lies at Arsenal.

"I have good connections with Lukas. He has a lot of competition on the flanks," said Wenger.

"He has an outstanding attitude. I have not had an enquiry from anyone and expect him to be here."
