Arsenal star Welbeck to return for Manchester United clash

Arsenal star Danny Welbeck could be fit in time to face his former club Manchester United on Sunday, Arsene Wenger has confirmed.

The England forward scored the winner on his return to Old Trafford in March to knock the Red Devils out of the FA Cup, but has been struggling with a knee injury which has kept him out of the Gunners' recent games against Hull and Swansea.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mathieu Debuchy remain on the sidelines, while Aaron Ramsey is a doubt for the trip north.

"Welbeck is a little possibility," Wenger told Arsenal.com.

"Maybe Welbeck will be available but at the moment he looks short.

"Ramsey is not in training yet but he should be better."
