Arsenal team news: Shkodran Mustafi back available for Crystal Palace clash but Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs out

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says defender Shkodran Mustafi has returned to full fitness and could be in line to face Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The Germany international hasn't featured for the Gunners since December 10th due to a hamstring injury picked up against Stoke.

Theo Walcott is not be expected to be available, meanwhile, with a minor calf problem which forced him to miss the Boxing Day win over West Brom.

Kieran Gibbs will also miss the New Year's Day clash with the Eagles at the Emirates due to a knee injury.

"I don't think that Kieran Gibbs will be available. Apart from that, Mustafi is fit again and we have one or two uncertainties," Wenger said.

"Kieran Gibbs has a knee problem and Walcott has a calf problem short-term but will he be available or not? I don't think he will be available for Sunday."
