Arsene Wenger denies Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini set for exit
Arsene Wenger expects Mathieu Flamini to still be an Arsenal player come the end of the transfer window.
The midfielder is the subject of reported interest from Galatasaray and there had been claims a deal could be struck
However, Wenger has now revealed he has held talks with the 31-year-old and he is likely to stay at the Emirates.
"Yes I expect him to be here because I spoke to him," said Wenger.
"At the moment he is not involved but he told me he has no intention to leave.
"He will be involved at some stage. He works very hard and it is his intention to stay."
