Arsene Wenger reveals Laurent Koscielny has ‘slight chance’ of returning for Arsenal at Watford

Laurent Koscielny could return for Arsenal against Watford on Saturday.

The defender suffered a hamstring strain against Olympiakos and missed the subsequent 3-0 victory over Manchester United.

He was expected to be sidelined until the end of the month, but appears to be making good progress in his recovery and could make his comeback at Vicarage Road.

"Koscielny has a slight chance to be back on Saturday. He has a definite test tomorrow," said Wenger.

As well as Koscielny, Wenger has confirmed that both Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini will also be monitored ahead of the Watford match.

"Arteta and Flamini are back in full training. We need to see how they are and how confident they are, but we can't rule it out," Wenger added.
