Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho unsure over Radamel Falcao quit reports but issues warning to striker

Jose Mourinho has admitted he is unsure about Radamel Falcao's future at Chelsea.

The striker joined the Blues on loan from Monaco in the summer after enduring a torrid season at Manchester United.

The Colombian has continued to struggle in the Premier League this term, making just one league start.

Mourinho played down any rumours suggesting Falcao is looking to leave in January but insists the forward is not doing enough to usurp Diego Costa as Chelsea's main frontman.

"First of all I don't know if it's true because to me he has said absolutely nothing in relation to that and I speak with him every day," said Mourinho.

"It's quite strange that the press knows something that I don't know and that my club doesn't know. We have not one single piece of information about it.

"What does he have to do to play more? He has to give us more than Diego, because we normally play with one striker and I always go for the performance level. It's direct competition between players for the position and the best one plays."
