Double blow for Arsenal! Gunners set to be without strike duo for trip to West Brom

Arsenal could be without both Danny Welbeck and Yaya Sanogo for tomorrow's trip to West Brom.

The Gunners travel to the Hawthorns off the back of a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, but Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Sanogo is struggling with an injury and Welbeck will require a late fitness test.

"Sanogo has problems. Welbeck will have a test this morning, he has not practised yet. Szczesny hasn't trained either and Arteta is out," said Wenger.

Arsenal also discovered the news this week that midfielder Jack Wilshere will be out for three months after sustaining an ankle injury against Manchester United earlier this month.

The England international has since undergone surgery and Wenger is optimistic he will have a positive impact on the latter stages of Arsenal's season.

"We knew he would have surgery. He's focused to come back and finish the season well. His injury is a consequence of a very bad tackle that was not malicious," Wenger added.
