If Arsenal want a good season then they must sign BOTH of these targets

Arsenal fan Jamie Sanderson explains to talkSPORT that his club can still have a good season as long as the manager brings in quality in January.

You can't argue that Arsenal need a quality defensive midfielder in January, and it seems Arsene Wenger agrees, with both Sami Khedira and William Carvalho being scouted.

The duo both bring different qualities and it seems most fans have a clear favourite on who they want to bring in when the window opens.

But if Arsenal are serious about having a good season, we need to sign BOTH players. Forget either or, there's space for two bodies.

Khedira would be on huge wages and would probably be the regular starter, offering passing, energy and box-to-box strength.

And we should also get Carvalho as well, a huge unit who can sit in front of the back for. Plus he can offer cover at centre-back.

Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta don't have futures at Arsenal and signing both Khedira and Carvalho would replace both of them with quality, consistency and real talent.
