AT LAST! Wenger says Arsenal ‘will’ try to sign a midfielder in January – could it be one of these six players?

As the January transfer window approaches, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has given the biggest indication yet that he will delve into the market for new players.

Injuries have ravaged the Gunners throughout the season, with midfield an area hit particularly hard and Wenger has commented that he will consider bringing in a new player to bolster his squad.

“There is a need [for a midfielder], but the right opportunity has to come up. If the right opportunity turns up, we will do it,” the Frenchman said in a press conference.
