Arsene Wenger has hit out at critics who say he should be sacked as Gunners manager.

The 66-year-old has faced intense criticism in the last few weeks with Arsenal’s season again on the verge of imploding.

But Wenger has angrily dismissed claims he should be sacked saying he has the full support of the Arsenal board.

‘I have worked here for 19, 20 years and I’m always sitting here having to justify that I’m good enough,’ said Wenger.

‘I always have to convince you that I am good enough. I worked for 35 years at the top level.

‘The people who own the club tell me to be here for 19 years.

‘Do you think they’re more stupid than me or you?

‘I’m humble enough to question myself every day. I accept my mistakes, believe me I do. I’m prilvledged to have the club’s confidence.’
