Alberto Moreno has been hailed as a ‘new signing’ by Liverpool fans after his sublime display in the 3-0 victory over Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have already rejected an £11 million bid from Napoli for the left-back this summer but it’s widely expected that the Spaniard will be leaving Anfield this summer.
Moreno struggled to make an impact under Klopp last season and his poor defensive skills suggested that his time at Liverpool was running out.
But the 25-year-old took fans by surprise with an excellent display on the left flank against the German champions.
Not only did Moreno handle James Rodriguez with ease, but his attacking output became a key focal point of Liverpool’s attack, especially in the first half.
And Liverpool fans were pleasantly surprised by the Spaniard’s performance…
