Yann Karamoh looks set to reject a move to Arsenal despite the Gunners offering the youngster the best wages, reports say.

Arsene Wenger believes Karamoh could be the next Kylian Mbappe, but has been battling with several clubs for his signature.

The teenager has refused to sign a contract extension at Caen and is keen to move on despite his club insisting they want to hold onto him.

Karamoh is in the final year of his current deal and GianlucaDiMarzio.com claim he has decided to join Inter.

Tottenham and Southampton have been linked with Karamoh alongside Arsenal, but the Gunners thought they had snared the player with the best wage offer.

Karamoh can earn more money at Arsenal where he would be expected to replace Lucas Perez.

The Arsenal forward is on the verge of a transfer out of the club despite only arriving at the Emirates a year ago.

But it is suggested the Karamoh already has his heart set on a switch to Inter.

Karamoh could be forced to wait until January for a move with Caen resisting Inter’s and Arsenal’s advances.

The winger, who can also play up front, scored five goals last term for Caen and has drawn comparisons with Monaco superstar Mbappe.

Wenger may now look elsewhere for a replacement for Perez with the Frenchman eager to rejuvenate his squad this summer.

That rejuvenation has already got off to an excellent start with the addition of Alexandre Lacazette, but efforts to make further signings have fallen short.

A deal for Mbappe seems unlikely while Monaco have refused to sell Thomas Lemar to Arsenal.
