Alexis Sanchez has been spotted in Arsenal’s new away kit for the first time as he was filming walk-on shots for television ahead of the upcoming Premier League season on Thursday.

Arsene Wenger is adamant that the 28-year-old will not be sold this summer and despite the forward expressing his desire to join a team in the Champions League, Arsenal are standing firm over the forward’s availability.

Before each season, Premier League broadcasters film every player walking up to the camera wearing each version of their side’s kit, and Arsenal are indicating that Sanchez is still part of their plans as the Chilean was part of the filming process with his team-mates.

Sanchez also took part in a training session for Arsenal members at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday and was seen kissing the badge on his kit.

After the session, Wenger reiterated that Sanchez will not be sold this summer, despite interest from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

‘The only thing I can tell you is he is focused,’ said Wenger.

‘My decision is clear – he will stay and he will respect that.’

Arsenal face losing Sanchez for free next summer if he refuses to sign a new deal but Wenger insists the club are happy to keep the Chilean until the end of his contract.

‘It is not information anymore, it is suicide,’ he said.

‘He will be here for this season and if we manage to do it for more seasons, we will do it as well.’
