Chelsea will submit a £50million bid for Tottenham defender Danny Rose on Sunday – after playing Mauricio Pochettino’s men at Wembley.

Rose, 27, has been heavily linked with a move away from the club after giving an explosive interview to the Sun in which he complained about being underpaid.

The England international also suggested he wanted to play up north again and would consider offers to leave Spurs.

Antonio Conte is a huge fan of the full-back and believes Rose is perfect to play the left wing-back role in Chelsea’s 3-5-2 system.

Chelsea travel to Wembley on Sunday to take on Tottenham and the Sun claim the Blues will submit their £50m bid for Rose after the match.

Mauricio Pochettino says he has forgiven Rose for his interview and insists he wants to keep him at the club.

However, Spurs could consider a sale out of a matter of principle, despite the fact that Rose has apologised for his interview.

Conte is keen on completing four more deals this summer with a centre-back, a full-back, a central midfield and a forward the priority.
