Tottenham have told anyone looking to sign Dele Alli that he is not for sale at any price, and consider him in the same bracket as world’s most expensive player Neymar.

The Brazilian moved from Barcelona to PSG in a £198 million deal, with the Catalan club unable to prevent the French giants from paying out his astronomical buyout clause.

And, according to The Sun, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy sees no reason why Manchester City and Barca target Alli should not be valued in the same price range.

The 21-year-old, who opened his account for the new season against Newcastle, is regarded as one of the best young players in world football.

He has drawn admiring glances from a host of European giants and was muted as a possible replacement for Neymar at Camp Nou.

But Levy will not sell even for £150m, and it would require an offer closer to the current record transfer fee – or the £160m Kylian Mbappe is likely to cost – to convince him to sell.

Meanwhile, Levy will also fend off any offers for Danny Rose from Chelsea, with the north Londoners determined to resist any more offers for their star players.

The left-back had given an explosive interview in which he intimidated that Spurs’ players are not happy with their contracts at the club and could earn far more elsewhere.

But Tottenham will not sell Rose to Chelsea even if they offer £50m, with Mauricio Pochettino only wanting to add a few new faces to a squad he is very happy with.
