Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says ‘something’ must happen for the club to make a fourth signing this summer but insists he’s happy with his club’s business.

The Portuguese boss gave executive-vice chairman Ed Woodward a list of four targets at the start of the summer and United have signed three of them.

The Red Devils have spent £145million on Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof  but the club are still believed to be keen on Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

Mourinho, though, says the club are under ‘no pressure’ to make a fourth signing and says something must change for another arrival to materialise.

‘Unless something happens that puts us in the market again,’ said Mourinho.

‘Obviously, my plans were four but I also told them to be cool, there is no pressure from me, do what you think is best for the club.

‘We will be together again for another window in January and one next summer so there is no pressure at all from me.

‘I am happy with the squad we have. I’m ready to go without a fourth signing.’

The Red Devils travel to Swansea City on Saturday on the back of their convincing 4-0 win against West Ham on the opening weekend.

Mourinho confirmed that he has no fresh injury problems for the trip to Wales and says Luke Shaw and Ashley Young will make their returns in an U23 game next Monday.
