Manchester United have traveled to Swansea with a 20-man squad with three members left behind.

Axel Tuanzebe, Michael Carrick or Andreas Pereira were all missing from the group that boarded the plane to Swansea on Friday.

The Manchester Evening News claim the trio could have traveled separately, but were not seen with the rest of the squad.

Jose Mourinho mentioned no new injuries at his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of United’s second Premier League game of the season.

One man who was on the plane was defender Victor Lindelof who failed to make the squad for the first game of the season.

Lindelof was a big-money addition for Mourinho this summer, but the United boss has insisted he needs time to adjust to English football.

Ashley Young and Luke Shaw were also missing from the squad, but the English pair are expected to make their comeback from injury next week.

‘Everybody is fine. The next week, on Monday, in the Under-23s game, Luke Shaw and Ashley Young are playing their first minutes of competition this season, Mourinho said.

‘It is like a pre-season match for them.

‘But it is good news because, when they can play with the Under-23s, it is because the last week they trained with us all week so they are both coming [back].’

United won their opening game 4-0 against West Ham and will be hoping to capitalise on a Swansea side still reeling from losing Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton.
