Manchester United are showing ‘significant interest’ in Fulham teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon, who has also emerged as a target for Liverpool and Tottenham.

Sky Sports claim Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the 17-year-old defender and is considering launching a shock move before the summer transfer window closes.

Sessegnon has been at Fulham since the age of eight and is rated as one of the most promising youngsters in English football.

Having already made 26 Championship appearances and featured for England’s U19 side, the left back has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League.

Liverpool and Tottenham have expressed interest in Sessegnon but Sky Sports say United have joined the growing list of clubs monitoring his situation at Craven Cottage.

Fulham do not intend to sell the Roehampton-born star but that has not prevented United from making enquiries with the view of signing Sessegnon and then loaning him back to Fulham for the rest of the season.
