Julian Draxler’s agent has fueled speculation that his client is set for a move to Liverpool by attending the Reds’ 4-2 win against Hoffenheim at Anfield on Wednesday.

Roger Wittmann, who represents the German, was spotted on Merseyside as Jurgen Klopp’s men booked their place in the Champions League group stages.

Klopp admitted after the victory that Liverpool’s transfer business could become easier given players are more likely to move to a club in the Champions League.

Nevertheless, Liverpool are still in danger of losing Philippe Coutinho, who has handed in a transfer request to force through a move to Barcelona.

According to Sky Germany, Wiitmann was in attendance for the clash at Anfield and is looking for a new club for the PSG star.

Wiitmann also represents Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino, who scored the Reds’ fourth on the night against his old club at Anfield.

Liverpool remain determined to hang onto Coutinho but Barcelona are likely to submit a third bid of around £138m for the Brazilian.

Should the Reds decide to finally let Coutinho go, Draxler would appear an obtainable and affordable replacement.
