Arsenal have decided against a late move for Jean Michael Seri, despite the Ivory Coast international being desperate for an exit from Lille.
The 26-year-old saw a transfer to Barcelona collapse last week, which he openly admitted he was devastated about.
Since that deal fell through, Seri issued a come-and-get-me plea to Arsenal and Liverpool as he looked to leave the Ligue 1 side.
However, Arsenal will not bid for his services this late in the day, according to The Guardian.
While Arsene Wenger is keen on finding a replacement for Santi Cazorla is not willing to rush a transfer through this late in the day.
Shkodran Mustafi, meanwhile, is set to stay at the Emirates, although Lucas Perez and Joel Campbell are searching for moves away.
