Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has given Real Madrid renewed hope of signing him by claiming he’s open to a big-money La Liga move in the future.

Hazard has scored 72 goals in 249 appearances for the Blues following his arrival back in 2012 but the 26-year-old has consistently been linked with Madrid since becoming a Premier League superstar at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian was at the heart of Antonio Conte’s side which stormed to the title last season – and insists he’s happy at Chelsea – but has not ruled out joining a Spanish club at some stage of his career.

‘At the moment I’m good in England,’ Hazard told Spanish outlet Marca.

‘I play for one of the best teams, but yes, the Spanish League is special…

‘Why not one day? Of course, for the moment I’m here.’

Hazard hailed Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane who has singled him out for praise on numermous occasions.

‘To think of football is to think of Zidane,’ Hazard added.

‘As a player and as a Coach, he has won everything and he is special, what he has achieved on and off the pitch has been magical and I’m so happy to see him succeed again.’

Hazard is yet to play for Chelsea this term after undergoing ankle surgery back in June but is expected to feature at Leicester City this weekend.
