Paul Pogba was forced off in the first half of Manchester United’s Champions League clash with Basel due to injury.

The France international lasted just 19 minutes of the match at Old Trafford as he pulled his left hamstring in a challenge with Mohamed Elyounoussi.

Despite the problem, Pogba was able to walk off the pitch as he was replaced by Marouane Fellaini but headed straight for United’s dressing room.

The 24-year-old is now a doubt for Sunday’s clash with Everton at Old Trafford.

Pogba has made an excellent start to the season having scored two goals and registered the same number of assists in United’s first four Premier League games.

Fellaini was quick to make an impact after replacing Pogba against Basel as he gave United the lead in the 35th minute.
