Pep Guardiola has hailed Kevin De Bruyne as one of the best players he’s ever seen after Manchester City’s 4-0 victory over Feyenoord on Wednesday evening.

Two goals from John Stones, as well as strikes from Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus sealed a comfortable win for City in their Champions League Group F opener.

De Bruyne was another impressive performer in Rotterdam and after the match, Guardiola singled out the Belgium international for praise.

‘Kevin is one of the best players I’ve seen in my life in terms of he can make absolutely everything,’ said the City manager.

‘He’s a top, top quality player.

‘We are so proud and so happy he’s with us.’

Elsewhere in Group F, Shakhtar Donetsk secured a 2-1 victory at home to Napoli.
