Gary Neville backed Chelsea to ‘bulldoze’ Arsenal after Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up for the clash at Stamford Bridge was confirmed.

The Manchester United legend said he was ‘amazed’ Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey retained their place in the centre of midfield.

The pair left Arsenal’s defence horribly exposed at Liverpool earlier in the month and Jurgen Klopp’s charge took full advantage, securing an emphatic 4-0 win.

Germany international Mesut Ozil has been left out of the match-day squad altogether after suffering with a minor injury, while Alexis Sanchez drops to the bench.

Reacting to Arsenal’s team on Sky Sports, Neville said: ‘I’m amazed, I expect Chelsea to bulldoze them now.

‘Those two [Xhaka and Ramey] were nothing short of shocking in centre midfield against Liverpool.

‘They weren’t running back, not protecting the back three, I expect the same result today.’

Antonio Conte, meanwhile, is still unwilling to risk Eden Hazard following his lengthy lay-off with an ankle injury – the Belgium international will start the fixture on the bench.

Tiemoue Bakayako, who has impressed following his £40million move from Monaco, also joins Hazard on the bench.
