Jose Mourinho is unable to confirm a return date for Paul Pogba but insists he will not ‘cry’ over the midfielder’s absence.
The France international suffered a hamstring injury in Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Basel in the Champions League on September 12.
Pogba is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks with the injury, while reports claim the midfielder will be given a 10-day holiday before he begins his recovery.
But when asked about when Pogba could return, Mourinho said in his press conference on Friday: ‘No idea.
‘But again, great opportunity for other players to play and I trust them all.
‘I’m not going to cry or count the days for Pogba to be back.
‘When he’s back, welcome. Until then, I trust my people.’
