Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia could be in line to return for Manchester United’s clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The duo did not travel to Russia for United’s victory over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, and Jose Mourinho admitted on Friday afternoon that both were doubts for Saturday’s fixture at Old Trafford.

But according to Manchester Evening News, both Jones and Valencia were spotted at The Lowry Hotel with the rest of their teammates, which indicates that they are set to be a part of United’s matchday squad.

Marouane Fellaini was also among the players at the hotel after missing the trip to Moscow due to an ankle problem.

‘We have to train and make decisions after training,’ Mourinho said on Friday.

‘I hope some of the players who couldn’t play in Moscow, I hope that, maybe not all of them, but some of them can recover.’
