Cesc Fabregas celebrates his victory over Charly Musonda. (YouTube)

Cesc Fabregas isn’t known for his blistering pace, but the Spaniard reminded Charly Musonda that he’s no slouch during training with Chelsea this week.

Fabregas did not make Spain’s squad for their World Cup qualifiers during the current break and has been training with the rest of his teammates who failed to make the cut at international level, including David Luiz and Marcos Alonso.

And during one fitness session, Fabregas was tasked with getting the better of Musonda, who has played just one minute of Premier League football so far this season.

Musonda has shown during matches that he possesses plenty of speed, but Fabregas managed to outpace the 20-year-old midfielder in six different races.
