Eden Hazard is returning to his best following a long period on the sidelines and the Chelsea star showed several glimpses of brilliance for Belgium against Bosnia and Herzegovina this weekend.

Roberto Martinez’s men came away 4-3 victors from the breathless World Cup qualifying encounter, with Thomas Meunier, Michy Batshuayi, Jan Vertonghen and Yannick Ferreira Carrasco on the scoresheet for the away side at the Stadion Grbavica.

Hazard was making his first start for Belgium since he sustained an ankle injury on international duty earlier this summer and the forward played the full 90 minutes on Saturday evening.

The 26-year-old appeared full of confidence and made two Bosnian players tackle each other with an outrageous dummy and flick to set up his team-mate in the second-half.

Antonio Conte will undoubtedly have been happy with Hazard’s performance and the fact the attacker managed to get more minutes under his belt.
