Manchester United are considering bringing in a specialist coach as fears grow Paul Pogba’s hamstring injuries could be caused by his running style, reports say.

Pogba is currently sidelined with a hamstring issue that Jose Mourinho has described as a ‘long-term’ problem.

There is no timeline on Pogba’s return with United sitting top of the Premier League.

The Daily Star claim United are desperate to get to the bottom of Pogba’s hamstring injuries and have been analyzing his running style.

At 6ft 3inches and weighing around 84kg, United have been investigating the pressure Pogba applies to his leg muscles when he builds up speed.

There is concern Pogba’s powerful frame is leading to the hamstring issues and the Red Devils are exploring the options of bringing in a specialist coach to address the problem.

United already have a stretching regime in place for Pogba, something that was in place before his latest injury.

But the medical team believe Pogba may benefit from specialized coaching aimed at reducing the pressure on his legs.

Pogba has missed five games since hobbling off against Basel in the Champions League in September.

Pogba helped United get off to a superb start and the Manchester club have hardly slowed down since losing the playmaker.

United remain unbeaten this season and have already scored 32 times.
