Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has called Scott McTominay and Axel Tuanzebe into his squad for today’s clash with Liverpool.

The Red Devils are without Paul Pogba, Michael Carrick and Maraoune Fellaini for their trip to Anfield.

Mourinho’s side are unbeaten this season but Liverpool represent United’s biggest test of the season so far.

Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic are expected to start in midfield but McTominay is likely to be on the bench after travelling with the squad to Merseyside.

Tuanzebe is yet to make an appearance this season and his inclusion today could mean Phil Jones is struggling to make the clash.

However, the defender is also capable of playing in central midfield and did so during United’s defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates last season.
