Tottenham will not accept anything less than £200 million for Harry Kane, according to reports.

The 24-year-old has reportedly emerged as one of Real Madrid’s top transfer targets, with Zinedine Zidane claiming that the striker is ‘a complete player’ in the build-up to his side’s Champions League clash with Spurs on Tuesday.

But according to The Times, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would demand a fee higher than the £200m which Paris Saint-Germain spent on signing Neymar this summer.

The report also claims that Levy is ‘determined’ to keep Kane and wants the England international to remain at the club for at least another season to play in their new stadium.

‘He is a very important player, he is a key player for Tottenham, he is very good at everything,’ Zidane said on Monday.

‘What he does is always towards the goal, he attacks space at speed. He is a complete player.’

When asked about Madrid’s potential move for Kane, Zidane replied: ‘I don’t know what will happen in the future.’

Kane still has four-and-a-half years left on his current £100,000-a-week deal with Spurs but the striker is expected to be offered a new contract at the end of the season.
