Arsene Wenger will welcome back three key players to his squad in the shape of Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Laurent Koscielny ahead of Sunday’s trip to Everton.

Ramsey and Sanchez were left out of the squad for last weekend’s defeat at Watford with Wenger citing muscle fatigue following their exertions on international duty with Chile and Wales, respectively.

Koscielny, meanwhile, was forced off late on at Vicarage Road with what looked like the aggravation of a long-term Achilles’ injury, but will be fit enough to play at Goodison Park after missing Thursday’s Europa League win over Red Star Belgrade.

‘Alexis, Koscielny and Ramsey will be alright,’ confirmed Wenger.

Danny Welbeck, who was also forced off against Watford having only just returned from a three-week absence is set for another spell on the sidelines, while Shkodran Mustafi is not expected to be back before the next international break which begins at the start of next month.

‘Welbeck is out. He has a groin problem, I think it will be two to three weeks before he is back. He will not be back before the international break,’ added Wenger.

‘Mustafi will not be back before the break, and Ospina as well. Ospina is not very bad, he has a grade one [groin problem] so it’s just a couple of weeks. Mustafi is a bit worse than Ospina.

‘Calum Chambers as well will be back after the break, and everybody else is alright.’
