Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has given Jose Mourinho a huge boost by returning to training.

The Ivory Coast defender hasn’t featured for the Red Devils in a month after picking up an injury on international duty.

United host Tottenham at Old Trafford on Saturday and will be looking to get their title challenge back on track after a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield last weekend.

Bailly has missed five matches in all but could be set to start on Saturday after returning to training today.

Victor Lindelof has struggled in the last two matches and could be omitted from the squad if both Bailly and Jones can feature against Spurs.

The Swede’s yet to impress at Old Trafford and was partly to blame for both of Huddersfield’s goals last weekend.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba has returned to Manchester after a fortnight in Miami recovering from a hamstring injury.

The Frenchman has missed nearly two months of action but could return against Chelsea on November 5th.
