Do I think Haye could be distracted from becoming a promoter? He’s always been a promoter, a self promoter and a huge diva.

It’s nothing new, he tried to be a promoter once before and failed miserably. And last time he had a lot more brains on hand in the likes of Adam Booth.

This time… all on his own… I mean he has the expert hand in the form of Richard Schaefer, but he’s on the other side of the world.

I don’t even think this is long-term, Haye certainly isn’t thinking that way. Hence the reason he throws Joe Joyce into a fight with Ian Lewison in his first professional fight.

Now he’s looking to match Joyce for the British title in the second fight, so I can’t imagine this Hayemaker Promotions will last long. There’s no sense of a long-term plan.

I caught the end of the Joyce fight, but I was busy that night. Let’s be honest it was in Dave and I’m not sure what channel that is on my Sky box.

But, fair play to Joyce. He’s a good fighter and I’ll happily have him out again on our bill in December.

DARREN TILL ARRIVES

Darren Till earned a stunning victory at UFC Gdansk (Picture: Getty)

I know Darren Till, we get on well and now the world knows about him.

Till’s style was all wrong for Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and I predicted before the fight Till would win.

It was his big step up in level and he swept Cowboy aside like he was nothing. He can wrestle, his striking is very impressive.

But, his biggest strength is he believes in himself and that is massive. Self doubt is one of the biggest fundamental flaws a fighter can have. It’s not arrogance, it’s a fighter who knows his potential.

Till is in a very, very dangerous weight class. Tyron Woodley is the champion. Robbie Lawler and Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson are incredible talents, but the UFC let the best fight the best.

A loss isn’t the end of you in the UFC, it can be the making of you. Till’s coaches need to be careful about matchmaking, but Mike Perry seems a good shout.

I don’t think Perry is on Till’s level and it’s only a matter of time before Till comes back to fight in Liverpool.

It’s down to the UFC, I know they prefer Manchester, but they can make it work in the Liverpool Echo.

Scousers can fight and it’s exciting times. Not that I expect Till to be the next Conor McGregor mind.

I don’t think we’ll ever see another McGregor, see a fighter explode at the speed like that young man did.

He blew up because he delivers, but if Till stops Woodley inside 13 seconds, then maybe we can talk.

VIEW FROM GOODISON

Ronald Koeman has left Everton (Picture: Getty)

Ronald Koeman has left Everton and I can’t say I’m shocked.

I never like to see any manager sacked, but football is a results based business and if you’re not getting results, you’re out of a job.

I feel for Koeman and I don’t believe you become a bad manager over night, but you can’t stay in the job when Everton is in the relegation zone after nine games.

If Premier League winning managers can be sacked in the second season like Jose Mourinho and Claudio Ranieri were, then no one is safe.

Senior players need to step up, says Bellew (Picture: Getty)

So I understand why it happened because you can’t wait till your ten points adrift at the bottom.

And I think someone will have said something down the line.

Ultimately though, it’s down to the team. The players will look to Wayne Rooney, Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman now.

As has Phil Neville (Picture: Getty)

There’s too many No.10’s in the team at the moment strolling around at the moment.

I’ll tell you what though, Everton do not need an inexperienced manager. I’ve seen Phil Neville and Ryan Giggs mention themselves as candidates.

I might as well throw my name in the hat then.

I’d love to see David Unsworth do well, a local lad. But, we’re perceived as a billion pound club now…

So why not go and break the bank and get Diego Simeone?

Diego Simeone (Picture: Getty)

Offer him £250,000 a week and give him a £300million war chest. Then let’s see how serious we really are.

Simeone has completed his process at Atletico Madrid. He needs a new project and what’s better than Everton in the Premier League?

Big fan base, a team with money. I’m not too sure who is available at the moment, but I’m desperate to see what happens now.

I want success at Everton football club.
