Harry Kane will play in tonight’s Champions League clash between Tottenham and Real Madrid, according to reports.

The Spurs striker has been an injury concern in the build-up to the Wembley meeting with a hamstring problem.

He was withdraw late in the recent game against Liverpool and has played no part in Tottenham’s two most recent games, including the defeat to Manchester United at the weekend.

But in the build-up to tonight’s match, Pochettino offered a positive analysis of Kane’s fitness.

‘Yes, we are very confident. He is on the list. I think it maybe can be possible for him to be available to play tomorrow.’

According to The Mirror, Kane will definitely play in the match having been passed fit following a full training session yesterday.

Using Kane may be seen as something of a risk with progress in the Champions League likely for Spurs, regardless of tonight’s result against Real Madrid.

At the weekend, Spurs host Crystal Palace before a six-day break until the North London derby with Arsenal.
