Chelsea midfielder Charly Musonda has informed Antonio Conte that he wants to quit Stamford Bridge in January, according to reports.

The Belgian has made just two starts for the Blues so far this season and hit out at the club on Instagram last month for his lack of playing time.

Antonio Conte was furious with the 21-year-old and warned him that he will not have a future at the club unless he matures.

However, the Italian’s warning appears to have fallen on deaf ears and Musonda is unwilling to wait for more opportunities at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is believed to be keen on signing Musonda and the midfielder’s told Chelsea he wants to leave in January, according to the Mirror.

Chelsea are highly unlikely to sell to a direct rival and Conte will want to line up a replacement before letting Musonda go.

Arsenal are said to have been sounded out about Musonda’s desire to leave the Blues already and could place a bid for him in January.
