Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has dispelled fears he could miss the north London derby after returning to training with France.

The 30-year-old limped out of training after taking a knock in Monday’s session with Les Bleus and pictures showed Giroud in distress on the pitch.

Arsenal host rivals Spurs after the international break and can ill-afford to drop further behind the pack after losing 3-1 to Manchester City last Sunday.

However, Arsene Wenger will be boosted by the news that Giroud was able to return to training today and is set to be fit for the clash on November 18th.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side arrive at the Emirates with wind in their sails after an incredible win against Real Madrid at Wembley.

Spurs were undefeated against their arch rivals last season, drawing 1-1 at the Emirates and winning 2-0 in the final north London derby at White Hart Lane.
