Patrik Schick insists he’s ‘proud and happy’ at Roma after revealing dreams of joining Manchester United.

Schick, 21, admitted he has ambitions of moving to a ‘bigger club’ like United, Real Madrid or Barcelona in the future despite only making one appearance for Roma following a summer move from Sampdoria.

The forward, though, is being tipped for stardom at the Stadio Olimpico and is intent on becoming a success in the Italian capital under Eusebio Di Francesco.

‘I’m proud and happy to be here. I’ve never thought of leaving,’ Schick told his Instagram followers.

‘Now, I’m doing everything to get myself back fit. I’ve got one thing in my head: to do the best for Roma. Forza Roma always!’

Asked about his future ambitions, the Czech told Reporter Magazin earlier this week: ‘Money? I take it as motivation.

‘I hope that in a few years I can move to an even bigger club where logically I’ll be paid even more.

‘That motivation has always helped me a lot. ‘It’s not really possible to move much higher [than Roma] but there are a few clubs…let’s say Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester United.’
