Chelsea’s on-loan youngster Tammy Abraham has credited Manchester United pair Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard for giving him belief.

The striker has made great strides in his development this season while out on loan with Swansea.

He’s scored four Premier League goals and with it earned himself his first call-up to the senior England squad.

Since meeting up with Gareth Southgate’s side, Rashford and Lingard have made an impression on Abraham.

‘The lads are very bubbly and when you look at players like Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, you can see that they’re confident lads and it gives you that nice belief in yourself as well when you get to play with top talented players like that.’

While making an impression at Swansea, Abraham insists his target is to make it at Chelsea.

‘My main focus is Swansea but pushing on, my main target is to be in that Chelsea squad,’ he said recently.

‘It’s not going to be easy, you look at the players that are there, but you have to keep pushing and keep working as hard as you can.

‘I want to show the world what I’m truly made of.’
