David Luiz is back in first-team training with Chelsea after his row with Antonio Conte.

The Brazilian was left out of Chelsea’s matchday squad for the 1-0 win over Manchester United last Sunday and was forced to watch the game from the stands.

Luiz was punished for reportedly questioning Conte’s tactics in the wake of Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat to Roma in the Champions League last Tuesday.

Reports have also claimed that there has been tension between Conte and Luiz since September, and the Brazilian feels his friendship with Diego Costa could be behind the problem.

But Luiz has returned to training this week and is now in contention to play some part in Chelsea’s clash against West Brom on November 18.

In the build-up to Chelsea’s win over United, Luiz did not train with his teammates and was forced to complete a session by himself.

Victor Moses has also handed Chelsea a boost as he stepped up his recovery from a hamstring injury this week.

The 26-year-old, who has been sidelined for a month, resumed outdoor training and was able to complete drills with a ball away from the first-team squad.
