Mesut Ozil had one of his best ever games in an Arsenal shirt on Wednesday as he helped tear Huddersfield Town apart.

The German playmaker was heavily involved all evening but an incredible four minutes of play saw him have a hand in three goals.

First he provided the assist for Olivier Giroud in a wonderful flowing move then just a minute later his cross was converted by Alexis Sanchez.

Just a couple of minutes after that, Ozil scored himself when he dinked the ball over Jonas Lossl.

Incredibly for a player with a reputation for providing assists, it was the first time he’d had a hand in three goals in a single Premier League game in his career.
