Juventus ace Alex Sandro has reportedly made it clear that he would prefer to sign for Chelsea than join Manchester United.

Alex Sandro has made 91 appearances for Juve since arriving at the club back in 2015 but the 26-year-old left-back is being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the January transfer window.

It’s understood Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho are expressing a strong interest in the Brazilian, with both managers on the hunt for reinforcements at wing-back.

Chelsea were desperate to complete a deal for Alex Sandro all summer, but Juve’s asking price of £80million meant a move to Stamford Bridge never materialised.

The Sun, though, suggest that the defender is still intent on joining the Blues in January and is ready to snub United to work under Conte.

Alex Sandro’s relationship with Juve and Massimiliano Allegri has broken down over the course of the 2017/18 campaign and the Serie A giants are resigned to losing the Brazil international.

If he does complete a transfer to Chelsea, the Red Devils are expected to step up their interest in either Danny Rose or Ryan Sessegnon.

Tottenham are set to demand over £50m for Rose, while Fulham are already scouring the market for Sessegnon’s replacement at Craven Cottage.
