Jurgen Klopp was in a furious mood when he was interviewed after the draw against Everton and cameras have caught the start of his rage as Liverpool returned to the dressing room.

Liverpool were guilty of conceding a penalty to hand Everton a share of the points on Sunday after completely dominating the Merseyside derby.

Klopp was criticised for arguing with a Sky Sports reporter in his post-match reaction, but the German was convinced the referee was wrong to award the penalty.

James Milner too was enraged by the decision and cameras in the tunnel caught him and Klopp expressing their feelings directly after the result.

Liverpool are departing the pitch after a bitterly disappointing result and as Milner walks by one of the officials he says: ‘How soft was that to decide that game?’

Milner is of course referring to the penalty decision that could have gone either way when Dejan Lovren placed his hands on the back of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who went over in the box.

Klopp emerges soon after and is clearly on the cusp of exploding as he shouts: ‘Unbelievable, really.’

Liverpool went ahead just before half-time through Mohamed Salah, but could not put the game to rest in the second period despite looking comfortable.

Klopp apologised for his behaviour after the game, but insisted he could not be expected to be totally calm just moments after an emotional result.

‘I would give the same interview now? I think the information I had to give would be the same,’ Klopp said.

‘But of course, now I’m completely relaxed. It was five minutes after the same so I was not relaxed.’

Liverpool have a chance to return to winning ways on Wednesday night as the Reds take on West Brom.
