Manchester City’s official Twitter account has aimed a harsh dig at Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, by claiming he’s not a football player.
The French language accound @ManCityFra posted a picture of City winger Leroy Sane covered in fog as he trained ahead of the EFL Cup quarter-final against Leicester.
Along with the photograph, they commented: ‘If you find that is hidden by the fog, you are unplayable…’
Twitter user @sachaB0 guessed that Fellaini was the player standing on the training pitch.
And City’s account brutally took him apart.
They replied to the suggestion that Sane was Fellaini by writing: ‘No, he is a football player.’
Ouch!
The original tweet has since been deleted.
