Alexis Sanchez’s agent has travelled to Paris for talks with PSG, according to reports in France.

The Chile international has not signed a contract extension with Arsenal and could leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Manchester City came close to signing Sanchez in the final stages of the summer transfer window but the Gunners pulled out of the £60 million deal as they were unable to secure a replacement in time.

Sanchez’s agent also held talks with Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, and according to Canal Plus, fresh negotiations began in the French capital on Tuesday evening.

Sanchez has reportedly been involved in a major bust-up with his Arsenal teammates, who have accused the 29-year-old of reducing his level of effort this season.

Arsenal’s players are also reportedly unhappy that Sanchez’s attitude is having a negative impact on the squad.

Arsene Wenger has previously admitted that Sanchez could be sold in January but has since claimed that he is prepared to allow the forward to leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.

When asked about Sanchez’s situation in an interview with beIN Sports this week, Wenger replied: ‘Sanchez and [Mesut] Ozil have a contract until June, that’s it.’
