Wilfried Zaha has ended the hopes of a host of clubs that he could leave Crystal Palace in January.

The forward has been the subject of much speculation amid a superb season at Selhurst Park.

Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea are all said to hold an interest in the Ivory Coast international.

Zaha’s good form continued on Sunday with the forward causing Man City problems throughout their 0-0 meeting with Crystal Palace. He even won the Eagles a penalty in the last few minutes, however Luka Milivojevic failed to convert it.

After the game, Zaha snuffed out any talk of him leaving Crystal Palace in January. ‘Yep, I am,’ he told the BBC when asked if he would be staying.

Crystal Palace will be delighted with the club continuing their battle against relegation.

They’ve been in superb form since Roy Hodgson took charge, with their draw against Man City putting them a point outside the relegation zone.

Zaha said of the result that ended Man City’s 18 game winning run: ‘It is massive for our confidence.

‘I know how talented this team is and if we all do our jobs and all focus we can do the job on the pitch.

‘We worked hard to earn the point we got. There is talent around the team and if we can get the three points we will do. We need to keep the play the same way as we played against Manchester City.’
