Chelsea advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup on Wednesday night but finished the game with nine men after Alvaro Morata and Pedro were sent off.

Pedro was booked for simulation in the second half and received his marching orders deep into extra-time for a foul.

Morata came on as a substitute in the 81st minute and his night was over in the 120th minute after he was also cautioned for diving before immediately being shown a second yellow for dissent towards the referee.

Antonio Conte was upset at the Spanish pair who will subsequently miss the Premier League tie against Brighton as their one game suspensions do count in the Premier League, despite them coming from an FA Cup tie.
